Jealousy.

Tearing you slowly and painfully,

Leaving you blinded.

Masking your thoughts with only one word…revenge.

Seeing something supposedly yours,

Being handled by another.

Seeing what you love with your whole being

Enjoying the company of another.

Seeing what you rightly deserve, being given to another person.

What you own as a possession, being given to another.

The pain the demon brings to you.

The demon comes into your heart at different instances.

Even when someone is being given preferential treatment.

All you can do is contain it before it consumes you.

Ensure you put it out so it doesn't leave you scathed.

The greedy demon will never rest 

But you can always put it to eternal slumber.
